It is a very comfortable restaurant – the servers don’t rush you to order and the ambiance is classic and a little old world. We had a lot of catching up to do about our friends’ recent trip to London and Paris, so it took us nearly an hour to even order. We were happy to be in a place where we could do so without being bugged.
When we finally got around to ordering, I decided to go with chicken on the bone with sauteed spinach. The menu was very farmlike and gave a down home country vibe. All of us were very pleasantly surpised with our meals, but sometimes the comfort and feel of a restaurant are more important – Village was the perfect place!
